The free Internet use accounts for part of the change. Job seekers want the opportunity to make use of the service. But free books and DVDs are also appealing. Perhaps there is a silver lining here. We have to wonder if the phenomena is occurring in other places around the country. Unfortunately, library services are often among the first cut during hard economic times.
