The State of the Union
Thank goodness President Bush has at last taken important matters in hand. Last night he announced that he would propose a law to prohibit hybrid human/animal cloning.
Phew! I was worried those South Korean scientists were about to do the unthinkable and turn the U.S. into The Island of Doctor Moreau. It's good we're all focused.

You know, this really settled my nerves last night. I was still concerned about those droves of people who are just aching to clone Hitler, and who readilly have the power to do so, and all the perfectly realistic implications that event would have. But not anymore. No, now I know that there will be American legislation proposed against it. I'll sleep well tonight.
